Tonal has issued a statement in support of Black Lives Matter on Facebook today.
At Tonal we believe in the strength to speak up for what is right and to condemn that which is wrong. George Floyd’s death was the latest reminder of the persistent and abiding racism in our country. We are proud to say in no uncertain terms that #BlackLivesMatter. We say this for our employees, our community, and our society.
Our mission is to create a world where every body can be their strongest. That includes the strength to listen with our whole hearts, to shift our mindset, and to take action against racial injustice that innocent black Americans face in overt and hidden ways.
The Tonal Team and the Tonal Community are coming together to stand against racism. We are making a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund to help support its fight for racial justice through #TonalGivesBack. Say something. Take action. Have the strength to speak truth, even when it’s hard. We must have the strength to examine our own behavior and always do better.
