Mirror is branching out from pre-recorded fitness videos to bring interactive one on one personal training sessions to your house through the Mirror. Each session lasts 30 minutes and will cost $40 for a personal, one on one session with one of the Mirror trainers, all taking place through the video screen of the Mirror. Mirror has the following to say about the newest feature:

“Using MIRROR’s two-way audio and video technology, Members will have an experience that is similar to having a trainer in their home. MIRROR Personal Trainers will be able to deliver expert feedback, form corrections, and encouragement to you in real-time.”

The Mirror trainer will customize the personal training session to your goals. However, if you are wanting to mix it up or spend more time focusing on one specific thing, you’ll be able to ask your trainer to do that. If you and a friend both want to get tips on form? No problem, the session is open to as many people as you want.

The $40 per session fee for the personal training session is on top of the $39/month Mirror membership that is required to access the library of on demand workouts. Depending on how booked up the trainers are, you will be able to reach out to Mirror to schedule lengths that are longer than 30 minutes (for a higher price).

CBS This Morning had an in-depth look at the new feature, which you can watch below.
